Two entities, two jurisdictions

Ano Energy operates through two entities. The Hong Kong company holds the manufacturer relationships and handles sourcing, trade, and export. The Nigerian company handles clearing, delivery, installation, and service in market. One business, structured so that each side sits in the jurisdiction where its work actually happens.

Most equipment reaching African markets is imported by a company that controls only one end of that chain and depends on third parties for the other. Holding both is what allows the group to take responsibility for a delivery from the factory floor to the site it is installed on.

Why China, and why Hong Kong

The companies the group represents are Chinese manufacturers, with relationships held at owner level rather than through trading intermediaries. That is a deliberate concentration rather than a limitation. For the categories the group supplies — solar generation and storage, electric vehicles, security systems, agricultural and processing equipment, construction supply — China is where the manufacturing base is, at the scale and price point African markets can absorb.

Hong Kong is the sourcing and trade base. The jurisdiction sits inside Asian manufacturing while operating under English commercial law and international banking standards, which is what allows an African buyer and a Chinese factory to transact through a structure both sides recognise.

Delivery across the group is executed by Ano Multiservices, the group’s operating and trading arm, which handles procurement, contracting, logistics, and clearing behind each of the supply verticals.

Registered in Nigeria and operating beyond it through partnerships with established companies already working in their own markets. Delivery into a country the group does not hold an entity in is carried with a partner who does — which is how equipment, parts, and service reach a site without depending on a chain of intermediaries none of the parties control.

How the group operates

The commercial business and the foundation share a founder, a head office, and a set of relationships. They do not share funding, governance, or reporting. The commercial entities are answerable to their customers. The Anosike Cares Foundation is a programme organization answerable to the young people it serves and to the institutions that support it.

The group exists because the same relationships open both doors — Chinese manufacturing on one side, African markets and institutions on the other. Keeping them in one structure is what allows a single activation to deliver commercial work and programme work at the same time, with each side doing what it is built to do.
