E.J. Anosike

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

A resource economist who competes professionally in China and builds in Africa. Those are not two careers. They are the two halves of one position.

Academically, his background is in economics. He holds a Master of Science in Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Economics from Sacred Heart University, both completed while competing in Division I basketball and captaining two programs. That training informs how every project is evaluated — whether the economics hold before relationships are called upon.

Professionally on the court, four of his five seasons have been played in China. He is a 2026 China National Basketball League Champion and Finals MVP with the Hong Kong Bulls, the league’s 2025 Best International Player, and its 2024 leading scorer. He represents Nigeria on the senior men’s national team. Those years produced something he did not set out to build: direct relationships across Chinese industry, at ownership level rather than supplier level.

In business, he founded Ano Global Holdings to use both. In Nigeria his work operates at the ownership and government level. In China it operates inside the manufacturing base. Very few people move credibly on both sides of that conversation.

Built in market

The group's manufacturer relationships are not brokered. They were built in person, over years spent living and working in the markets the business now runs through — China, Hong Kong, Nigeria, Belgium, Canada, and the United States — first as a professional athlete competing across three continents, then as an operator.

The relationships are concentrated in China because that is where the manufacturing is and where the most time has been spent. They are maintained the same way they were built: in person, on the ground, season after season.

On 25 April 2026 the State House in Abuja issued a statement in which President Bola Ahmed Tinubu congratulated him on leading the Hong Kong Bulls to the 2026 National Basketball League championship in China, where he was named Finals Most Valuable Player, Best International Player, and Slam Dunk Champion. The President's statement also noted his commitment to Nigeria's national team, D'Tigers.
